Filming day 2

For day 2 of filming, I filmed at the Quayside, Gateshead, I used my main model Alyssa along with Jack. The filming took around 2 hours, these shots will be used throughout my whole music video. Some of the shots I took I will not be able to use as they are too dark. I filmed scenic shots as well as shots of Jack and Alyssa together. These are some pictures of the shots I am going to use.

Filming day 1

For the first day of filming I filmed outside, in a nearby park. I am using Alyssa as my main mode. I shot several clips of her lip syncing and will be used near the start of my music video. The filming took around one hour, there were some implications as it was raining which effected some of the shots. Above I have shown some photographs of the shot I am using in my music video.

I added a reviewer quote as well as a star review which is used in most digipak adverts so the album more likely to purchased.

I decided to put on the artist website so the audience can see other things available and where to purchase the digipak from.

I decided to pick up the colour of the background of the front cover digipak and lowered the opacity so it's not as bold. I decided to put the release date and the main song on the album on the poster as this is a common convention and advertises my music video as well as my digipak.

I made the background colour of my poster the same as the colour of my digipak and I then placed the front cover of the digipak on my poster which is a common convention. I decided to make the front cover of my digipak the main focus as it is recognisable with the audience.

Digipak Update: Ten

I decided to add the song titles to the disk of my digipak which makes it look less bare.

Digipak Update: Nine

I added another image to my digipak disk, this is so when the disk is removed it is easily identified. I cut out the original image from its background and then put a colour overlay on the cut out image so it ties in with the rest of the digipak. I used the rubber tool to ensure the picture fit the shape of the disk.

I made the disk of my digipak a similar colour to the background of the image on my front cover to tie in the colour. IO did this by using the colour drop tool and picking up the colour from my picture.

Digipak Update: Seven

I added a photograph to the front cover of my digipak to make it more recognisable to the audience. I put a colour overlay on the photo so it would tie in with the rest of the digipak and I lowered the opacity so you could still she the original image.

DigiPak Update: Six

I have added a track list to the back of the digipak so the audience know the song names. It is also a common convention of a digipak.

On the spine of the digipak i have added the name of the artist and album as well as the record label logo so the audience can identify the digipak even when it is on the shelf.

I added the barcode as it is a common convention and I also added the record label logo as this is also a common convention and allows the audience to identify.

Digipak Update: Three

I added the name of the artist so the audience can identify and I also added the album title which is a common convention. I used a white font as this fits my colour scheme and I used this particular font as it fits my theme well.

I added a raindrop effect on the inside cover and background of my digipak. I chose this as it looks like static and their is static in the relationship.

Digipak Update: One

This is the beginning of my digipak. I have decided to use this colour scheme as it fits the theme of my music video. According to psychology, purple represents the future which fits the narrative of my music video perfectly.

I have decided to base my music video on a female character following her post break up in a strong and empowering way. She is getting over her break up rather than dwelling on it. While getting over her break up she meets a new boy who is kind and lovely and peace in her life is restored.
